To Enhance your Yoga Experience

Initially, the effects of yoga practice are numerous and noticeable. However, the progress you experience in the beginning will become subtler and less obvious. The effects of a consistent yoga practice can produce profound changes in your body, mind and in your life. Here are some ways to enhance your practice:
- ALWAYS work to your own level. Yoga is a personal, internal experience.
- Breathe through your nose while practicing yoga, unless directed otherwise
- Enter and leave each posture following the rhythm of your breath.
- At the end of each class we will spend some time in savasana (corpse pose). This pose allows your body to integrate all the movements you did in class.
- Do yoga on an empty stomach.
- Drink lots of water after class to help flush your system of any toxins.
- Wear comfortable clothing and remove any jewelry before class.
